Farm Sprouts Preschool Program

Fall and Spring Sessions

The Farm Sprouts Preschool Program focuses on developing scientific thinking and understanding through discovery, experimentation, sensory experiences, and play! Children ages 3-5 years old will have opportunities to explore the farm and surrounding outdoor environment as a part of an inquiry-based approach to learning.

Group sizes are kept to a low child-to-teacher ratio to meet the needs and interests of the child. Seasonally-based projects and investigations are integrated into the program to assist children in reaching developmentally appropriate cognitive learning goals related to science, literacy, mathematics, engineering, the arts, social studies, and Spanish as a foreign language.

Children become part of the farm community to participate in meaningful tasks. Experiential learning opportunities in an outdoor educational setting promote the development of social, emotional, and physical skills, as well as fostering a lifelong connection to nature.
