Maple Tapping and Pancake Celebration

Don’t have a woodlot and sugar shack, but love maple syrup? No worries! Join us for a fun and delicious experience: pop into the 19th century barn for a robust pancake meal and then bundle up and join our maple sugaring program. Identify and tap a maple tree, tour the working sugar shack, take a wagon ride, tackle historical tools, and of course, taste maple syrup. $12/person includes the hands-on maple sugaring with wagon ride and pancake celebration with coffee, cocoa, pancakes, real maple syrup, and other goodies! Programs run 9:00am-12:00pm and 12:00pm-3:00pm with the pancake bonanza in the barn open an hour before each program with entertainment, music, and friends!

Eggstravaganza

Join the Novi Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services and MSU Tollgate for a springtime favorite, the egg hunt. Come by and check out whether the colorful eggs are laid by the rabbit or the chicken. Fall Fair

The Tollgate Fall Fair is a free admission, family oriented event held on the third Saturday of September from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  A full day of children’s crafts, activities and educational presentations are held on site.  Hay rides, self guided garden tours, fishing and appearances by the Novi Fire and Police departments are just a few of the fun activities that are part of the fair.  Vendors and organizations are present to offer their goods and educational information to visitors.  Tollgate Garden Volunteers act as guides on site, conduct activities, offer refreshments and share information.  Over the years, the Tollgate Fall Fair has grown tremendously.  Don’t miss your chance to enjoy this truly wonderful and relaxing day.

Pumpkin Festival
Join us on the weekend’s in fall for our Pumkin Festivals. Choose from many self-guided activities such as picking a pumpkin, taking a hay ride, visiting the animals, enjoying fresh home-made donuts or just enjoying the beautiful farm grounds. There is free admission and nominal costs for pumpkin picking and food. Make this event as part of your family tradition! More details regarding dates and times will be available as we get closer to autumn.
